Welfare of the Equine first

Prioritising the wellbeing of the horse above our own aspirations.

Our responsibilities to the horse

Horses didn’t ask for any of this. We need to make sure they have an enriched life that provides their most natural needs for Friends, Forage and Freedom.

Knowledge and understanding

When we know better, do better. Continually striving to improve our knowledge so that we can do our best for the horse.

Guiding Principles

~ Comfortable, healthy hooves for all horses.

~ Healthy biomechanics and balanced hooves that support the horse’s long term soundness.

~ Horse guided work; observing how the horse feels and responds.

~ A team approach; owner, hoofcare provider, bodyworkers, vet, saddle fitter, nutritionist and trainers all working towards a common goal.

~ Communication between professionals and owners to get the best outcome for all.
