About Me

Equines, both the short eared and long ears varieties, are my life. I love helping them to live their best lives, and helping their owners to care for, connect and understand them.

I am a qualified equine podiatrist through the Australian College of Equine Podiotherapy, and a Masterson Method Certified Practitioner. I continually strive to further my education, know and understanding, both in hoofcare and bodywork, as well as training and management.

The difference with Anna is that she has in depth knowledge in many areas of horse care, rather than just tending to one aspect and ignoring the rest. Anna not only keeps my horses feeling their best with body work and hoof care, but applies her knowledge of bio-mechanics to help with their training. Both of them have shown huge improvement, with Jack getting his best scores in Advanced dressage, and Obi moving from being a questionable paddock ornament to Novice dressage in the last 10 months. Bare foot is not just for happy hackers, my horses perform at a high level (and jump!) and are able to work soundly on a range of surfaces.

I could not recommend Anna highly enough! The difference in my gelding since we started our bodywork sessions has been incredible. Kind, gentle, and her work definitely shows results. Thank you for making my boy feel good!

I chose Anna initially for barefoot trimming after transitioning my horse from steel shoes to hoof boots and wanting to continue with this long term, having seen a huge improvement in my horse’s way of going. Anna takes into account the ‘big picture’ when assessing a horse, and considers many aspects and how those impact on other areas. She has a wealth of knowledge which she shares willingly with her clients.
