Scoots are performance boots, they are designed to fit healthy barefoot hooves and provide protection and traction. If fitting allows, they are also great for rehab and transitioning out of shoes.

The boots are lightweight, with excellent drainage, they have no Velcro or cables which makes them some of the easiest boots to put on!

Each pair comes with standard black straps and spare parts, coloured straps can be purchased separately to match with your other gear!

I only supply Scoot Boots to clients on my hoofcare books. If you are not a client, but are looking to purchase Scoot Boots, they can be purchased directly from the Scoot Boot website.

Fitting Service

This service is available for clients on my hoof care books only. I carry a full sizing kit for Scoot Boots, including regular, slim and mini sizes. I also have limited stock of popular sizes.

I want your boots to work for you and your horse! I fit your horse with a pair of boots when I trim them, checking that the boots fit both before and after the trim. If I have your horse’s size in stock, we put the boots on and take them for a test drive. If I need to order in the size you need then I will have them for you at your next appointment and we will try them out. I understand that this can mean you are waiting for your boots, but I want to make sure they are fitting well and that they are going to work for your horse.

Then at our next appointment we check how the boots have been working for you and make any adjustments needed. If they are not the right size I will exchange the boots. If the boots are in “as new” condition I will fully refund or exchange the boots, if they are showing signs of wear then I will refund or exchange them minus a $40 trial fee.

Later on, if your horse’s feet change size, or you no longer need your Scoot Boots, you can exchange them for a different size, minus an amount agreed upon depending on the condition of the boots, or they can be sold second hand (see second hand page for details).
